Precautionary Measures
We have always employed stringent safety and sanitation protocols at our guesthouse, and we will continue to do so (with special measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19). We are following the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centres for Disease Control (CDC). In addition to these measures, we encourage you to learn more about what you can do to travel safer.  The World Health Organization has several recommendations to reduce exposure to a range of illnesses, including hand and respiratory hygiene as well as safe food practices.

Pete and Deb have also completed the mandatory COVID-19 hygiene training program to protect the public and staff recommended by the WA government.

Cancellation policy 
For guests who have booked a stay between 25th March and 31st December 2020, you will have the opportunity to cancel and postpone your booking with a credit which can be used within 3 years of your planned arrival date. Please email info@margaretriverguesthouse.com.au or call +61 897572349 and we will help you change your booking or hold it in credit until you’re ready to plan your next holiday.

For bookings made through a travel agent or online booking platform (e.g Booking.com, Expedia) please contact them directly. We will honour the same cancellation policy, as above, for pre-paid rates via them as well.

If you are able to claim your hotel stay via your travel insurance, please let us know and we will arrange for any documents you require to be sent to you.

If you would like to book with us for a future date, we have new very flexible terms and conditions on our available rates and packages till June 2021;

All bookings may be amended up to seven days prior to your arrival date, without any fees being incurred on changes to your arrival date.
