Like many of you, cancer has touched our lives, our friends and families lives in many different ways.

For 10 years I owned a business that had strong links with cancer and the many people it affected. Since running the guest house I have missed this part of my life, so Pete and I decided we would offer a 2 night getaway to the Breast Cancer society and give them the opportunity to choose 6 ladies they believed needed a break away from their situation.

During August 2010, we welcomed these 6 ladies and their partners to our guest house. This opportunity was an amazing one and each story touched our hearts.

To Gillian, Alison, Michelle, Jodie, Liz and Tracy we look fordward to meeting you all again in the not too distant future xx
